SGT idea. otherwise your article is pretty accurate. We have been authorized to go to 300% in anticipa...

There's a couple of instructors on socnet who post once in a while.
Thanks for the heads up. My Ranger Buddy is trolling over there for information as we speak.

Yeah, that seems to be a problem. I had heard some rumors that SWC is currently looking at approving it as a DOD approved MFF school.

Navy MFF School

Anyone have any info or contacts for this school? Based out of San Diego, and not yet DOD approved, but heard it was in the works and I'm trying to confirm.

I believe technically they have lost jump status but I know they did a night jump into Camp Swift last month so they are still jumping. They will chop over to my battailion sometime this spring and I will know a lot more about it then. Sorry it took so long for me to get here. The above information...

New Army PT drills and exercises?

I seem to remember some weird ass new drills and exercises that were supposed to take the place of stretching during group PT. Salina in the summertime...too much fun. Good luck, and stay focused. I may guest TAC for your Phase II at Mabry--take out my frustration on this shitty deployment on the OCS candidates.

Keep an eye out for CPT Quintaner (sp). Mean SOB from Kansas. He is hard but will teach and mentor you well.

25th LRSD just deactivated a few weeks ago, and 10th MTN deactivated several months ago. Not looking good for Active Duty LRSU's.

Talked with NGB, and National Guard LRSU's are slotted through FY 2008, and they are pushing to expand the MTOE to 188 effectively turning all into LRSC size elements.

Damn, welcoming party is in full swing....

Don't give up on school. TX can and will send you--they sent me. Prepare. Don't give TX or the Guard a black eye.

Who are you with, and why are you not in Afghanistan or Iraq with the rest of us?

Work on listening more, and talking less.
