Re: Advice needed on running plan (boots?)
2mi in sub 13's is pretty easy. I would add in a 5mi run or further once a week. LSD, 7:30-8's. You can always search for a running program if you really have no idea how to program one yourself. Maxing the PT test is usually not rocket science. Just run hard, and run often, if that's your weak poin...

Re: Evans Vs Jones Extended Preview
Evans better bring something, like a weapon, or a buddy to club Jones knee during his entrance, because he's probably going to be KTFO tomorrow night. I haven't been able to follow MMA much lately, but looking at the rest of the card nothing else really strikes me as being a must see fight. Sometime...

Re: UneasyRider - SITREP SFQC
Walk this Thursday heading to 1/10 Germany, cannot wait. Sage was unreal, awesome training experience. I think there's an article in the Raleigh paper about my team. We jumped 100lbs rucks at night, moved around 7-8k on foot, only to have guns pointed at us all night. Sending messages in the rain wh...

Re: UneasyRider - SITREP SFQC
Sending quick SITREP: Finishing up MOS Phase, heading out to Robin Sage in March, graduation set for April! The 18 Echo course was very solid. In a short period of time we learned everything from HF to dedicated SATCOMs. The instructors, who are all retired Special Forces, were amongst the best teac...

Re: UneasyRider - SITREP SFQC
Dropping in to send out a SITREP. Finished up language back around May, scored well with a 1+, thanks to my professor. Pushed on into Small Unit Tactics (SUT) Phase but ended up getting recycled due to ... BRM. Still a little upset on that, I sat in between training for a couple of months before I g...

Re: UneasyRider - SITREP SFQC
Dropping in to send another SITREP. I recently graduated the CLT portion of the pre-pipeline phase. CLT, I believe stands for Common Leaders Training, certifies the "classroom" portion of WLC & BNOC. We spent a lot of time in a classroom teaching classes on common Army doctrine/forms/g...

UneasyRider - SITREP SFQC
Rangers, Many months ago I posted a re-introduction to the forum and I think now is a good time to update my status. Quick background on myself, I completed 4 years in the Air Force before I enlisted into the Army as an 18x-ray. Last January, I went to 11B OSUT, graduated March, and went down the ro...

Looking for people to PT with (Southern Illinois).
I'm having a hard time finding people who like to throw down on some real PT, not just going to the gym to look good stuff. Especially now that the weather is getting chilly; all my friends have retreated to treadmills, and rucking? Forget about it, they think I'm nuts. I'm an 18x, and I live in Edw...

Re-introduction
Good morning Rangers, I first found this site over 4 years ago when I was enlisting in the Air Force and received some awesome mentor-ship. Never forgot that help; and have continued to search this forum for information from time to time over the years. I served 4 years in the Air Force as a Securit...

Welcome to the site InfoLocust. Not too long ago I was in a similar situation as yourself. I was joining the Air Force to do TACP and was thinking of doing SERE. When I got to BMT basically TACP recruiters never showed up. I stuck in the general bucket, meaning I had a list of 10 jobs and 5min to pi...

Your math does not add up bro. If it takes you 2 hours to knock out 1,000 PU but you finished this workout in less than 2 hours? You probably forgot to carry the 1 or something.Joedan wrote:Just finished my workout, completed 1000 pushups 500 situps and 500 flutterkicks(2000 1 count) in 1 hour and 45 minutes.
