Did some research, as I'd never heard of that manufacturer before. What I found was that it is actually made by someone in the Phillipines and sold through Legacy Sports International, in the US. Couldn't find any reviews on anyone that had one though.

That is ridiculous. How many BAR's does one man need. Hey Chuck, how about sharing the wealth.LOL What an awesome collection. I had a chance to go into the Gray Room at H & K up in Sterling VA. They have some very unique and rare weapons there. But I like this Gun Vault better.

Re: I'm looking for a holster thread...
How did you plan on carrying it? If you don't mind my asking. Are you military or LE? or just for carrying concealed. I carry a Springfield Operator TRP with a light rail, and the TLR 1 light. I know that Blackhawk is making a modular holster that the Springfield fits in. It has a clip that you can ...

Re: 45 ammo question
I'd have to disagree with a couple things posted on here. I do agree that shot placement is paramount. But that being said, a controlled expansion round will to much more damage then ball ammo. A .45 ball round goes in and comes out at .45 inches wide. A .45 hollowpoint goes in at .45 inches but soo...

I concur with EarthPig. Don't let him settle for anything that he doesn't want, with the hopes of getting it later. The recruiter is trying to get all the numbers he can, and doesn't want to wait, or put the work into getting what your son wants. be patient.

How about the 230 grn. Gold Dot. Alot of SWAT teams and I believe FBI HRT use that. I am currently carrying the 230 grn Winchester Ranger XST in my .45.

I was talking about the combat gauze, along with an asherman chest seal. I keep a package in the tactical ammo bag on keep on the console of my patrol car. Do you use the asherman seal in regiment, RngrDoc?

Re: Wound Care/Basic 1st Aid
I have seen this type of facial trauma in person. In 19 years of law enforcement, I have never seen anything as horrific. about a year ago, I was working an off duty detail at a trauma center in my city, when we had an armed robbery gone bad at a Dunkin Donuts in our city. The animals robbed the sto...

Re: Body Weight
Ranger dbmtrman, would just doing road marches be enough to condition my feet or are their other ways? Breaking in your boots and changing socks on every break, is a big part of it. Nearly everytime we had a long road march there would be guys whose feet looked like raw meat. Once you get to that p...
