Re: Daily workout post
This thread is a great program, I wish I would've seen it while I was on break and able to follow my own PT schedule. Now that I'm having to PT with the Company again, my AM workouts are dictated by the PT leader/PT schedule and my PM workouts alternate from whatever muscle group/exercise the Compan...

Re: Michael Moore being sued
That's fuckin' awesome. I hope he sues him for an unGodly amount; like a hundred million. Not because I think the violation of his copyright is worth that, but because an amount like that would ensure this story gets more attention from the mainstream media. Win or lose, it doesn't matter, it would ...

My "new" AR-15's [lots of pictures/56K warning]
Re-did a few things (optics, etc.) on two of my AR-15's so I decided to take a new round of pictures. Got way too into it and ended up spending an hour playing with the camera and trying to get creative. http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j62/mxpatriot/AR%20pics/DSC_0027.jpg http://i77.photobucket.co...

Damn, nice work!
Ranger want2race, you have some of the best garage-gunsmith skills I've ever seen. Makes you wonder what you could do given a machine shop, doesn't it?

Re: 150 Rd Drum for M4
Some 3 Gun competition shooters use them. Even when they're babied and used under ideal circumstances, they can still have reliability issues.

Re: Does anyone here remember this fast roping incident?
Gotta name? If he was involved in filming BHD, then he was in B Co and I should know him. It sounds like he got injured after I left though. I'd like to know the name, too. I would have had to have been in Bco at the same time as this cat and if he says he was involved in the BHD filming, then I kn...

Re: Does anyone here remember this fast roping incident?
Actually, we fastroped quite a bit in the dark. Yes, we attached chem lights to the bottom of the rope to aid in making sure it had hit something (hopefully the ground). I know of a couple of instances in 3/75 where some Rangers got fucked up during night/limited visibility Fast ropes. If he helped...

Re: Does anyone here remember this fast roping incident?
Ranger Jurena, I'm largely paraphrasing his story here, putting together the details that I have heard (some from him, some from others talking about him), so I can't give you the exact details of how his feet were on the rope, but I remember hearing about how he had that sinking feeling as he felt ...

Does anyone here remember this fast roping incident?
Rangers, We had (he recently commissioned) a prior-service Cadet who did time in the Regiment, I do not remember which Battalion. He was in the Regiment sometime around 2000 plus or minus a few years. The incident that I am curious to see if anyone here remembers is: They were experimenting with fas...

Re: HK94 (MP5 semi version)
How much does that KRISS .45 go for? I didn't find any pricing for it anywhere. Looks like a fun shooter and you can't go wrong with a .45! Ranger JLTW, $1700. http://www.impactguns.com/store/KCRBS0803801.html http://www.gunpundit.com/2008/kriss_crb_so.jpg It would be a crime against humanity to bu...

Re: HK94 (MP5 semi version)
Ranger Rgrokelley, Are you specifically wanting an MP5 platform weapon or are you open to other pistol caliber carbines? Because KRISS is releasing/has released in small numbers their .45ACP carbine now. Feeds from Glock magazines, and I hear the recoil reduction buffer on it is amazing (it has a li...
