Ranger Bugsy, After reading the material you had assigned I came to a very simple conclusion. I don't feel that three fifty lacked the motivation necessary to persevere. It is my opinion that he wasn't ever truly committed. It seemed like he wanted all the benefits that go along with being a Ranger,...

Ranger Bill,
I apologize for the excessive posting. It will not happen again. As for your PM, I have read it and have been in search for the "mentor zone" but am having problems finding it. If you could point me in the right direction I would be very appreciative. Thank you

Well, today I secured my 11x option 40. I signed for 4yrs 19wks, leaving for basic on April 28, 2008. From now until the time I leave, I will be training up to prepare myself both mentally and physically.

Additionally, I was wondering how I would go about getting a mentor for these next few months?

Ranger Jim,
I recently finished self-administering a PT test. Here are the results:

Push-ups: 64
Sit-ups: 69
2 Mile run: 13:49
Pull-ups: 14

I realize there is room for improvement in all areas. Please let me know what you think. Thank you

Ranger Jim, There are many reasons why I desire to serve in the 75th Ranger Regiment. In the most basic terms, I want to serve my country as part of one of the most high-speed units in the military. Taking it a step further, I am the kind of person that has always looked to achieve at the highest le...
