My son also had 'hearing" issues. He ending up taking the same route as you. As a little encouragement, he is now with the 3rd Ranger Battalion and currently in Ranger School...Moral of the story is...if you want it...go get it.

Got a kid in Ranger School. It's 106 degrees in GA right now. I bet life is sucking pretty bad for him. His brother went through in the winter. I bet there will be some interesting arguments as to who had it worse!
