Re: New hopeful Ranger
but I like combat a lot Please tell us more about your combat experiences and how much you "like" combat. Tread lightly and read a LOT youngster. I have a "hunch" that you don't know what you are talking about; at least up to this point. Combat isn't an xbox game or a movie.....

Re: Access to VA Med Records
The Army has never given a shit about my VA file as they don't have efficient crosstalk.....yet.
Their systems are supposed to be tied in with each other soon. I can't remember the NLT date/year, but its supposedly coming. When it does, expect a total clusterfuck.

Re: What is the record for the longest jump at Friar Field?
Thermals are a funny thing.
.
I was the first out of a UH60 for a water jump.....and was still approximately 750'AGL when all other jumpers hit the water. All told, I was only in the air approximately 4-5 min, but it certainly was a "different" jump for me.

Re: APFT Failures during EIB Testing?
EVERYONE that doesn't have their EIB goes out for it; whether they want to or not. Whether they can pass APFT or not. So, yes, there are failures.
I myself failed a LT on PU during EIB testing. It isn't as uncommon as you think, although there is no excuse for not passing a PT test.

Re: Life Proof SmartPhone Case (Junk)
I have a gov't model Otterbox on my iPhone 5.....water proof I think up to 15 m for 15 min, dustproof, and can withstand 2,000lbs of pressure. They improved on it by having it closed with a clasp system so that you can take it out easily if need be. Worth the $100 cost. Model name or number if you ...
