Ranger Jim
Roger that. Compared to the snow today in PA, El Paso looks pretty nice right about now.

4-1 CAV
RANGERS,
Looking for info on 4-1 CAV. They are at Bliss now (or will return there from Iraq - I think) , wondering if they'll stay there, reflag to 1AD, or move altogether to Hood? Any input would be appreciated.

Garrison: student chain of command?
RANGERS:
While in Garrison at RS, do the RI's put the students in PL/PSG/SL type positions? Are these positions evaluated as go/nogo, or how is it done?
Thanks, Appreciate any input.

RANGER JIM and RANGER RRDTm3, Thanks, and Roger - will live from Ranger Handbook. Question: From experience as NGB Pre-Ranger, were AD o's accepted into that course? From what I've searched on ArmyRanger.com it looks like NG o's are authorized. I'll complete pre-Ranger at Ft. Sill, but that ain't Be...

Paragraph 3
RANGERS,
Question about briefing OPORDS at RS. At what point is it best to utilize Terrain Model Kit? At the start of para 3, or upon conclusion of a particular sub paragraph?
For OPORD briefs, did anybody whip out the Ranger handbook and go line by line, using it as a checklist?
