Re: 2d Ranger Memorial- need info

Carlton was there during that era, but he was B Co, I believe, not HHC, and would consequently only remember his own company medics. B Co medics during that era were Norbert Miller, Mitch "Maddog" Wilson, and Scott Underdonk. Oh, yeah. And Frank Morales. And Balentino Perez. If Carlton was...

Re: 2d Ranger Memorial- need info

Just remembered. Norbert Miller is also on Facebook. Mitch "Maddog" Wilson is on SOCNET. RB Braughton is on SOCNET, though he rarely posts. Now that I think of it, RB is on this site, too. Right? Or is that my imagination? No telling. I cannot think of anyone else who is lucid and will hav...

Re: 2d Ranger Memorial- need info

I think that the same people keep getting asked the same questions. Nobody remembers when these guys arrived. It was 30 years ago. Marianne Lannon will not know. She was like 16 years old when her brother joined the Army. If you want to ask her, and have her tell you that, she is on Facebook. The on...

Bird!

What's UP!

Good to see you here!

Doc.

ETA:

Bro's, this is Bird. He is a GOOD MO FO. He was our PLT RTO. I spent many a cold, wet night in the PLT CP with him in South Ranier Training Area.

He is an old scroll Ranger. I am really happy to see him find his way here.

Welcome to the site.

I am interested in your views, and I thank you for sharing them with us.

It is not every day that we get to talk with a real-deal Russian Spetsnaz veteran.

Re: Glasses

There are anti-fogging sprays that you can purchase, and they do work.

I think that I used to purchase mine, back before LASIX, from the PX. Been a long time. I no longer remember.

Re: Need help to verifying Ranger credentials

Thank you very much for your information. I know the person is full of crap. Worse it's criminal. In corporate american I don't think most companies know what a DD214 is. What's worse is knows I was in the Army and he still lies thru his teeth. Thanks again for the additional information. If you ha...

Re: Fresh meat

Goddamn I envy you your youth and your opportunities. I am old and busted up now, so I have to live vicariously through you young guys. Good luck! Enjoy what you have while it lasts, and I do not mean in terms of material goods. Live hard and honorably, and know that you will never know better men t...

This guy is lucky, and so is his family.

As a CSM at Walter Reed....I think that he should have gotten the maximum.

Re: SITREP for Fat_Bastard

Congratulations on signing up, and good job, losing all of that weight. Keep it up. There is nothing wrong with being realistic, and serving as an infantryman is eminently honorable. I personally appreciate your willingness to sacrifice and serve. Not everyone is cut out to make it straight into a R...

Re: POSSIBLE POSER - NEED CONFIRMATION

I disagree. There is no such thing as a 14-week Ranger course, and this guy was lying to you. Unless I am mistaken, is it not a misdemeanor to lie to a LEO? Prosecute him. Prosecute him for driving drunk and endangering others on the road, prosecute him for lying to a LEO and for acting like a belli...
