LOL, I got a panicky call from my recruiter at 9.30 tonight. Just last minute bullshit...they have slacked alot since I signed. This crap shoulda been set weeks ago. I'm set though. They just got the jitters, I guess.

I thought that was supposed to be me.

Thanks, I'm gone.

I head to MEPS at oh-dark-thirty tommorow to get finalized and then hop on the shortbus to Benning. With any luck, I'll be able to secure myself some kinda hooah-hooah training while I'm down there. So far, all signs point to go. This site has been alotta fun and provided me with lots of good info. ...

I know that when Kimber did the contracts for LAPD and MEUSOC (is that the right unit?) they all ended up a bit different from the stock offerings at the time to meet the needs to the contract. It doesn't seem like it'd be a big deal to use USGI spec bushings instead of match (or std shoptight) bush...

In the same vein as CC, I tried a workout from Wiggy's website tonight. The 2nd half of my workout went as follows: 20 burpees 1 hindu pushup 19 burpees 2 hindus 18 burpees 3 hindus etc. until the numbers are reversed. Take 30 secs rest after each set of pushups. Ends up being 199 of each. It's a pu...

Ranger H8Train, that would be pretty fecking cool. I've had 2 Kimbers and they've been pretty good guns. The 1911 is hard to beat in an offensive capacity. Personally, I think it's great as a defensive tool as well, but so many people (er, lawyers) are in love with the double action triggers. I hope...

Tool access is the primary problem when the SHTF. Consider that when it gets nasty, it's nasty because it's usually a suprise. If you see trouble coming you can prepare for it and have the initiative or just avoid it entirely. With that in mind, you need to be prepared to access that tool when your ...

Not wanting to portray myself as an objectifier of the fairer sex, I didn't comment on specific individuals, but she certainly does stand out, doesn't she.

Mmmmm.

danger girls

This is my kind of cadre.

Has anyone ever seen or heard of these women? According to the PR, they're competent and they're sure as hell appealing.

Rangers, could you save money by just buying the stripped lower ($80-150) and transferring the parts? Since it's not (at least I get the impression) a select-fire sear, that should be legit and save some loot, no?

Furey's stuff is fine. However, there's an assload of hype and the info you pay for isn't really anymore detailed than the info you get for free reading reviews of his program. Check out Scapper's website for similar programs for free. IMO, there's so much good, free info on the WWW that there's ver...

Respectfully, Ranger H8Train, the Punisher is cool, but a complete dingleberry compared to Spidey.

Ranger Spartan, I am a superhero, but in a not-so-cool Pokemon kinda way.

Spiderman 2 is great. There is some clumsy dialogue and ridiculous science, but it's flaws are far overshadowed by it's strengths. It does a fantastic job of bringing the superhero experience to life.

Respect

OK, everyone likes to talk shit sometimes and everyone wants to be hi-speed. However, there is a time and a place for laying down the smack. Many people here have stepped on their dicks and can relate to what I'm saying. This 'story' should serve as a parable and a warning to all of us, DEPr's espec...
