IIRC from some peripherally related threads at SOCNET, some Marines end up in phase 2(?) of BUD/S. Maybe Recon guys or their new SOCOM unit?

Maybe Leatherneck will have the scoop, 'cause it's just as likely that I have my head screwed on crooked.

Ranger BeadleBug, these guys are white and the neighborhood is about 50/50 with a fairly even mix of black and white crackheads/drunks and black and white professionals, although interestingly, there's a high proportion of gay males in that professional crowd. I guess they don't have to worry about ...

So, I renovate houses and I'm workin' on this terribly beat up old shack in the hood. It's an area undergoing heavy gentrification and most of the houses that aren't lived in are being worked on. A few houses down from my project is one these two brothers about 23-26 yrs old are doing. Young, cocky ...

What am I missing that gives these weapons away as a "rubber duck"?
Black 20rnd mag. Issue mags are beat to shit.

Seamless, perfect dustcover.

The A1 handguards aren't a dead giveaway, but certainly add to the overall impression.

Ender's Game is great. There's a highly underrated/promoted book called Armor by John Steakly in the same genre thats really good, too.

Some of the the stuff Heinlen espouses is cool, but some of it has gotta be induced by massive chemically induced psychological trauma  .

There's an Air Force guy driving from McChord to Ft Lewis, and an Army guy driving from Ft Lewis to McChord. In the middle of the night with no other cars on the road they hit each other head on and both cars go flying off in different directions. The Air Force guy manages to climb out of his car an...
