As far as boxers or underwear go, something to look into might be underarmour. Kind of spendy, and not standard issue, but... something to look into if freeballin' ain't your thing.

After Grimy crossed the line and we came across after him I looked at Sgt Bohannon and I caught a glimpse of a smile! Then about 30 minutes of smoke for not following his orders!!! I had to get an IV that day but I wouldn't trade that memory for anything! Sgt Bohannon was pretty damn cool. He was a...

Should we buy some Boots right now and break them in or will Ariborne be enough time to break ours in, or just use what we were issued in OSUT? I have some Jungles (green :? I know I am not supposed to but its all my dad had) that I use for my rucking. Save your money, they'll issue you two pair of...

Hey Antrim, I have a little experience with a similar situation so maybe I can save you a bit of time (something us old farts are in short supply of). The 75th will not do contracts for prior service. MEPS will tell you you can't get anything other than station of choice, and they limit that too. H...

Prepping tips for the RIP road march(es)
I've had a few PM's about this from DEP'rs reading my intro Post. I guess it's a good to know a little about preperation for the road marches in RIP. I will write what I know from back in the day. If any of you Rangers could chip in with your road marching prep tips and whatnot, it might better arm ...

Welcome, and thank you for your service. I respect the fact that you don't like the service. Not everyone does. Some people might call you a pogue, remf, or whatnot, but if you're being a man and doing the time you hitched for, I can respect that. If you don't like the service, a better way to help ...

Arguing with some over the internet is retarded(I think there is a picture out there that explains it). The guy didn't enjoy his time in the military, that's his loss. I do think ChemLightBattery should have showed some more respect to him though, it was pretty immature. Just my two cents. this guy...

We had two black guys in my first RIP class. One was a bodybuilder, the dude was ripped from head to toe. He was out in the first 3 miles of the 12 miler, but he passed the swim test. The other guy almost drowned. One of the cadre when I went through was a black E6 (I think he was an E6, maybe an E5...

Re: Introduction
The last big test of the first week was the 12 mile road march. It was 12 miles back then, but I guess it's 10 now according to what I'm reading. When I went through RIP it was a 10 miler but you also did a 6 miler and 2, 8 milers. They now do the 12 mile road march agian. With only 1 other that is...
