Thanks for the congrats and advice Rangers. Ranger j.rico, I gave the silver dollar to the same MSG who gave me the tab. I did almost forget the thing though, had to send the future in-laws to pick one up for me and the other commissionee like an hour before the ceremony.

Re-intro Bulldawgs07

Rangers: As of 1500 on Memorial Day, I am now a Second Lieutenant. I'm branched Infantry, and will be assigned as an ROTC Gold Bar Recruiter over the summer until I start BOLC/IOBC in OCT. Here's a link to my previous introduction: http://www.armyranger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=28983&highlight= As...

Guess this is good and bad at the same time... You scored as a Officer Officer, you're the brass. The leader of the bunch. You have leadership qualities, or you have a really big ego. Most likely both. You know how to get things done, and don't care who you have to kill to get them done. Your a man/...

Just went for the follow-up appointment. My recovery is going great, I'm able to walk as much as I want, carry things, and drive, all with no pain. The doctor said I can take off the ace bandage that I've kept on my leg, so I'm trying that now and haven't had any problems. He said the recovery and s...

Surgery was this morning. Everything went smoothly and it doesn't hurt as much as other surgeries I've had, though I'm glad I got a Vicodin prescription. I've already noticed a decrease in that "tight" feeling in my leg. I'm also a lot more mobile than I expected, I can walk short distance...

message as follows "Hey fuck head, quit trying to cash in on Rangers buy selling this. Where is the backing for the Airborne wings and the unit citations are wrong? RLTW, Bubba" I hope I was right about the citations, it has been awhile. The uniform is also missing DUI and the beret looks...

I finally had the pressure test on my leg today. I had them do both legs just in case, since my left one has been a bit sore and I didn't want to go through this crap again in a month. The test came back with a 30 (pre-exercise) on my right leg, so the doctor scheduled me for a surgery (fasciotomy) ...

I just saw it on Saturday. Awesome overall, though there were a few parts that were almost ridiculous (what was the point of the musician goat-person?), and they should have at least mentioned the Athenian naval engagement. Without that, it doesn't make any sense as to why Xerxes wouldn't have just ...

Yeah, it didn't exactly "go." Let's just say I'm not too happy with doctors right now. I drove in for the test from Connecticut, get there and they tell me that it's just a pre-test appointment, which is BS. So they don't charge me the co--pay, but decide that I need to change doctors prio...

Thanks for the input bulldogg and 91W. That condition the link is to is exactly what the doctor thinks it is. Assuming the test results come out the way we expect on Thursday, it seems the best and probably only option is the surgery. I sure as hell am not going to let some stupid ass injury like th...

Ranger The Sleepy Doc, I had the bone scan, and it came up negative. I assume the bone actually healed a while ago, and for quite a few months the pain has been due to whatever else is wrong with the leg, which would explain the lack of abnormalities on the scan, which he did mention the possibility...

Update and more questions: I just went to see the doctor for a follow-up today, having still experienced pain in the affected area. Both he and I agreed that the stress fracture should be healed by now. He is under the impression that it might be something called "muscular compartment disorder,...

Roger, points taken Rangers. I won't do anything stupid on this one (or anything stupid I haven't already done at least). Ranger The Sleepy Doc, it's my fibula (the smaller one in case I'm still wrong) I must've just contracted the two by mistake. I'm going to head out and get some properly fitted r...
